Green Aventurine 33-Waves (10mm)

Again, experimenting with a larger bead size. I found a shop in Michoacan with excellent, semi-precious beads, and they happened to have one of my favorites - Green Aventurine - but only in a 10-mm size.

This is the find that started the whole bigger-mala trend. 10-mm is a *substantial* presence in the hand, and will be silk-knotted with a 12mm hematite 'supreme' bead.

The green has a delicate translucency with no cloudy (agated) quality to it. There's one available.

The triple tassel denotes the Trisula, 3 movements of awakening as delineated by the 10th Century Kashmiri sage, Abhinavagupta: 1) Wisdom or Insight; 2) the movement of Will (sometimes called 'desire' heh!); and 3) Action or Accomplishment.
