I am so excited to introduce three new EEEmporium products for 2024! The first is the GhantaBalms, our solid perfumes stacked up to evoke a particular scent-memory, but after a minute they swerve into a more subtle expression.
Here we have the Three Sages: salvia officialis from Greece, s.apania from Mexico, and s.aetheopis from Africa. Plus a drop or two from a secret garden that guides sage into new terrain.
The carrier for this scent is a blend of shea butter/olive oil, and the OO is especially compatible with the sages. While in Egypt in 2021 I visited the Matrouh olive oil press, but the oil we are using for the Three Sages came from a nearby Bedouin village. I've found all Egyptian OO --as it is from a drier climate-- to have a dusky, more animalic taste than its European cousins. But the Bedouin oil was in a class by itself.
The little jewel-boxes (2 1/4 x 1 1/2) are hand-beaded in India, but I have finished them with a 10kt rose-gilt lining and an intaglio inner cap. Each box is filled and sealed the day you order to make sure the scent is full strength.
They arrive in a translucent gift bag, and you may receive a different box than the one shown.

Besides making you smell like the Spring Equinox, the GhantaBalms are designed to support PrajnaIndriya, the Wisdom Senses. This one goes with the Eleusian Epiphanies' TriSattva practice.
